A successful Annual Review Meeting!

On Monday 29 September, the SATACI consortium gathered at ESA ECSAT (UK) for the First Annual Review meeting. The meeting marked an important milestone after one year of work under the ESA CLIMATE-SPACE programme.

During the meeting, we reviewed the progress on:

  • Quantifying the aerosol indirect effect on liquid clouds
  • Assessing the impact of dust on cloud glaciation temperature
  • Prototyping a new aerosol–cloud climate indicator to monitor the cooling offset by aerosolsIt was a great opportunity to discuss results, share perspectives, and align on the way forward toward improved observational constraints for climate models.

A big thank you to our ESA Technical Officer Michael Eisinger and all project partners for their contributions and insightful discussions.
